Hey, I'm Skye (yeah, it’s my real name! I get that question a lot).
I love coffee (as shown in this photo taken on a trip to Seaside, in which I am in a lovely café and searching for more cafés to visit), and my favorite design movement is vectorheart. This abstract minimal style flourished in the late 1990s and early 2000s, championed by influential studios including The Designers Republic, The Attik (defunct), and Prate. Its simple forms arranged into complex compositions, delicate typography, and interesting color palettes are what drew me to the design world.
I'm a Creative Technologist and Art Director with 10+ years of experience in motion graphics, real-time systems, and interactive media. I build tools, design visual systems, and direct projects at the intersection of design and technology. I specialize in FUI (Fictional User Interface), data visualization, procedural and generative design, and installation art.
I'm currently developing a multi-system new media installation combining spatial audio, synchronized projection, DMX lighting, and custom hardware control in TouchDesigner.
My past clients include Mattel, Pixar, Amazon, Microsoft, 2K Games, and Bank of America.
My primary tools are TouchDesigner, Cinema 4D, After Effects, Figma, Cavalry, and Rive, supported by Houdini, Redshift, X-Particles, Cycles 4D, Nuke, Affinity, and the Adobe Creative Suite. I write Python, JavaScript, VEX, and GLSL.
