//ABOUT

I'm Skye—and yes, Skye is my real name ( I get that question a lot).

I love coffee ( as shown in this photo taken on a trip to Seaside, in which I am in a lovely café and actively looking for more cafés to visit ), and my favorite design movement is vectorheart. This abstract minimal style flourished in the late 1990s and early 2000s, championed by influential studios including The Designers Republic, The Attik (defunct), and Prate.

I am a technical and meticulous art director specializing in motion graphics, 3D design and animation, and FUI ( Fictional User Interface ), as well as a creative technologist working with procedural, generative, and interactive art. I craft dynamic visuals for diverse media, including films, games, applications, installations, and multimedia.

Utilizing my passion for innovation and creativity, I develop procedural and technical solutions that facilitate easy extensibility and seamless iteration and direction. This has included custom tools such as expressions and templates for After Effects, MoGRTs for Premiere, VEX and VOPs setups in Houdini, and interactive real-time systems in TouchDesigner.

Throughout my career, I've collaborated with prestigious clients such as Meta, Mattel Playground Productions, Pixar Animation Studios, Marvel Studios, Amazon Web Services, and Microsoft.

My primary tools are Illustrator, After Effects, Cinema 4D, and TouchDesigner, supported by Redshift, X-Particles, and Cycles 4D.

I also utilize Houdini, BlenderNuke, RiveHTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python, VEX, and GLSL.
