8-bit Fireworks

An experiment with creating a simple particle system entirely with shape layers in After Effects led to this modern take on a retro video game ending screen.

Using expressions to control repeaters, transform properties, and time offsets, I created the fireworks system with two shape layers with a single circle on each one.
